Hearing Gods Voice

Today was an amazing day from start to finish.
A friend told me today that she thought this was going to be a hard/challenging day for her, and that she could just feel it, and she was right.
Today we finished our lesson on hearing Gods voice, and boy did he speak. We learned not only how to listen to his voice, but got to explore the different ways that he talks and got to share personally how he speaks to us best.
We also had time to write and share our testimony, which for many, as well a
s myself, was a healing, and very powerful moment. Not one of us was left with dry eyes while listening to how God used the broken to make them victorious.
For saturday, we have to start our journals, and im praying that God will show me how he would like me to start it off, and also what to name it. And I am praying for my classmates as they are in prayer pondering the same question.
For a fun little side story, josh had decided to give us another tour of the property, where we got to look around at all the fruit trees and through the wooded areas in and around the base, but little did we know that it was just a distraction, and while we were away the staff was filling buckets with water, and we like innocent sheep fallowed josh to a spot near the cars, and suddenly we were attacked with the water. We were definatly taken off guard, but boy did we fight back. It was so much fun to have that little break of spontaniousness to take a break from the long and draining classes and de-stress.
I want to also say that God has written another name in his book of life as we celebrated one of the students accepting Jesus into her heart! It was amazing, we were dancing and cheering and crying! God is SO good to us all.
Later today we got to go to the beach and had a picnik all together and shared about how we were called to come to YWAM and do the DTS. It was an amazing time of fellowship and it was a beautiful night.
Please be praying that God will continue to do his work in our lives during this time and that we would all be as open as we can be so God can fully do the work he has planned in all of us. Also please be praying for a calling I have been experiencing to do the YWAM school of worship, and also for the call im feeling to work with children in trafficking situations around the world. Also on a side note, please be praying for the internet as its been very hard to get online to skype anyone, or to blog, so please forgive me for not keeping in touch.
Please be keeping my team mates in your prayers as I feel like everyone is just a bit homesick right now. Please be continuing your prayers for safty, and thank you for your prayers so far as I am blessed beyond belief.
We have also had a TON of rain this week, so please be praying for the flooding towns surrounding us, and that it would dry up very quickly.
Blessings, Meredith
